Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s Western Currency Campus Expansion

Project Overview

160,000 square foot, $32.7 Million expansion program includes a new Visitor’s Center, Museum and overhead gallery for the public to view currency being produced-from beginning to end, Administrative office’s and approximately 86,OOOsf of increased currency printing production space. As one of only (2) facilities in the United Stales, this plant will allow tours for the first time since it opened in 199I. There have been extensive government· mandated safely and security regulations. Among the issues to be addressed were air quality regulations and extensive MEP and Fire Sprinkler systems within the existing and expansion facilities-which are crucial to maintaining the Client’s ongoing operations.  Work completed under the Haws & Tingle Ltd. name.
