The Dallas County Courthouse, known as “Old Red Courthouse”, was built in 1892 of red sandstone with rusticated marble accents, is a historic government building located in Dallas, Texas. Renovation included a significant restoration of the interior walls, paint finishing, and carpentry, to include architectural carpentry in the courtrooms. HVAC and electrical upgrades to include new switchgear and overhead lighting were part of this project. The Hasen team provided value-engineering, while still maintaining historical preservation standards and requirements.
